Make it personal. Make it a treasure.

It had been years since I had sewn anything and then my daughter became pregnant with my first grandchild. Suddenly I had the desire to sew and to make nursery items in preparation of the baby’s arrival. One day when I was visiting a fabric store, I saw a home embroidery machine in action and on a whim decided to purchase it. I fell in love with the embroidery process.  I loved the opportunity to be creative, and quickly discovered that my home embroidery machine had too many limits.  I quit my job, purchased a commercial machine and then went to work making my life and other lives brighter by making items that became treasures.  I’ve built my business one job at a time, using the highest standard of quality at a reasonable price.

With my sewing background I wanted to combine fabric with embroidery to make unique designs. I use a unique appliqué process that allows me to use any 100% cotton fabric to decorate sweatshirts or jackets. You can choose the design and make it for your specific needs.  Polka dot fabric has been a big hit along with flowers and geometric designs.  With the use of high quality heavy weight sweatshirts high quality fabric and tackle twill, these sweatshirts wash well and look good over time. I started out with my local high school and then branched out to BYU and the University of Utah.

I also love to do work for special occasions. When you personalize a gift it makes it unique and treasured. A baby blanket is a nice gift, but when you put the name and birth date, it becomes an heirloom. Celebrating a special occasion such as a Eagle Scout ceremony, makes it more memorable with a scarf that has the Eagle Scout’s name, the date and troop number. The best part is watching people receive these great gifts. Their eyes light up as these gifts become their favorites. They definitely are a treasure.
